Devonport library – Enjoy a cuddle with Benjamin the library cat in the hobbit hole window

Personally my favourite library to go to is the Devonport library based in Auckland, New Zealand.

The staff there are really warm and have been working there for years. The building itself is spacious and modern yet it feels very cosy and welcoming.

The seats are comfy and the windows are really big so you can get a lot of sun and overlook the near by park + beach.

In my opinion the best window is the hobbit shaped one in the children’s lounge (but anyone can sit there).

The Devonport library is at the heart of the local community and has been a happy home for Benjamin (the resident cat).
